A website in granvl is your brand's main site: a homepage, Services, About and Contact pages, one page of your own, plus Privacy and Terms pages. Every page shares one header, footer and main button. Your agent writes the pages over MCP, and granvl hosts them on your domain next to your funnels. Use the website for the site people find when they look you up. Keep using funnels for ad landing pages and split tests.
Before you begin
Connect your agent and install the granvl skill. See Connect your agent and Install and verify the granvl skill.
Add your brand kit so the header and footer start in your colors, fonts and logo. See Organize work with brands and brand kits.
To publish, you need a domain in Settings > Domains and a plan that includes publishing (see What it costs below). Building and previewing need neither.
What a website includes
The Pages tab lists a fixed set of pages. Each one has its own path on your domain.
Page | Path | Notes |
Homepage |
| Required before you can publish. |
Services |
| What you offer. |
About |
| Your story and your team. |
Contact us |
| Can hold one form. |
Extra page |
| One page of your choosing. Can hold one form. |
Privacy Policy |
| Legal page, linked in your footer. Doesn't count toward your pages. |
Terms & Conditions |
| Legal page, linked in your footer. Doesn't count toward your pages. |
Websites are kept simple on purpose:
One website per brand. Each brand in your workspace can have one website on its own domain.
One version per page. Website pages have no variants or split tests.
One form at most, and only on Contact us or the Extra page. No quiz steps.
One shared design. Your agent writes the header and footer once, and granvl adds them to every page.
Create your website
The quickest way is to ask your agent. This is the prompt granvl gives you during website setup:
Using the granvl skill, build my brand website for {your website}.
Create the Home, Services, About, and Contact pages, plus one page of my own. Give every page the same header, footer, and main button, and match my brand.
Before building, ask what my business does, who it’s for, and what the main button should do.
Publish a preview and send me the link.
Replace {your website} with your current site's address, or describe your business if you don't have one. Your agent creates the website for your brand, writes each page, and sends you preview links. Nothing is public until you publish.
You can also start an empty website in the dashboard and let your agent fill in the pages:
Click Websites in the sidebar, under Resources.
If you have no website yet, the page shows No website yet with a name box filled in from your brand. Change the name if you like and click Create website. It's created for the brand selected in the brand switcher, or your default brand under All brands.
If you already have a website, the page lists them with their brand, status and page count. Click New website, pick the Brand and Website name, and click Create website. New website only appears while a brand has no website.
Build the pages with your agent
The dashboard doesn't edit page content. Your agent creates and changes every page, one page per request or several at once. For example:
Write the About page for my website: our story, the team, and why customers choose us. Keep the same header and footer.
Create the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions pages for my website.
The Pages tab shows where each page stands, with a count such as 2 of 5 pages created at the top:
Status | Meaning |
Not created | The slot is empty. The row reads Create with your agent via MCP. |
Draft | The page exists but the website hasn't been published. Click Preview to see it. |
Published | The page is live. Click Open to visit it, or Preview. |
Unpublished changes | The page was edited after the last publish. The live page doesn't change until you publish again. |
Click Preview at the top of the page to open the homepage preview with the shared header and footer.
Set the shared appearance
The header, footer and navigation are shared by every page. They start from your brand kit when the website is created, and your agent can rewrite them at any time:
Update my website's header and footer: add our logo, put Services, About and Contact in the menu, and link Privacy and Terms in the footer.
In the dashboard, Customize on the Pages tab (or Appearance & navigation on the Settings tab) opens Site appearance. It holds the site's four Colors, Heading font, Body font, Logo URL, Navigation links, and Search visibility. The main website button takes the first color. Because your agent writes the header and footer, ask it to update them after you change colors, fonts, the logo or the menu here.
Set the main website button
The main website button sits in the header of every page. Point it at your best funnel so visitors who are ready can go straight to it, without adding another page to the website.
On the Pages tab, click Edit button next to Main website button.
Enter the Button label.
Under Link to, choose A funnel, A website page, or A URL, then pick the funnel or page, or enter the address.
Click Save.
A funnel target links to that funnel's landing page: a short path when the funnel is on the same domain, the full address when it's on another one. Clicks on the button are counted as Funnel clicks in the website's analytics. You can also change the label and target on the Settings tab, or ask your agent.
Connect a domain and publish
A brand website usually goes on your root domain, such as yourbrand.com. If that address serves another site today, connecting it to granvl replaces that site.
Add the domain in Settings > Domains and finish its DNS records. See Connect a custom domain.
Open your website, go to the Settings tab, and pick the domain under Domain. A domain still being verified shows (pending).
Check that every page your menu and footer link to exists. The default menu links to Services, About and Contact, and the default footer to Privacy and Terms.
Click Publish at the top of the page. It stays unavailable until the homepage exists and a domain is connected. On a website-only workspace without a plan, the button reads Choose a plan to publish instead (see What it costs below).
The website goes live at your domain once the domain is verified. When your agent publishes or unpublishes a website, it shows you a summary first and waits for your yes.
Note: Your website and your funnels can share a domain. The website takes / and its own page paths, and each funnel keeps its own paths. Each path can belong to only one live page, so if a live funnel already uses one of the website's paths (often /), publishing names that funnel. Move the funnel to another path or domain, then publish again.
Update or unpublish
Page edits show as Unpublished changes. Review them in Preview, then click Publish changes.
Appearance and the main button show in previews right away. The live site picks them up when you click Publish changes.
Unpublish: on the Settings tab, click Unpublish website and confirm. Every page goes offline immediately. Publish again any time.
Remove a page: ask your agent. It asks for your yes first. The homepage can only be removed while the website is unpublished.
Receive contact form submissions
The Delivery tab works like a funnel's Delivery tab: connect the platforms that receive your contact form's submissions. Contact details go straight from the visitor's browser to those platforms. Manage delivery on the Settings tab opens the same place. See Set up forms and lead delivery.
Search engines, page titles and tracking
Search visibility (on the Settings tab) lets search engines index your published website. granvl serves a
robots.txtand asitemap.xmlon the domain. With it on, the sitemap lists your published website pages and the live funnel pages on the same domain (thank-you pages are left out). With it off, every website page gets anoindextag androbots.txtasks search engines to skip the whole domain, including its funnel pages.Page titles & descriptions: ask your agent to set a title, description and social image for each page.
Ad tracking: pixels and tags are set per domain and shared by every page on it, including your website. See Configure pixels and conversion APIs.
Read website analytics
The Analytics tab shows traffic to your published pages. Pick a date range at the top right.
Section | What it shows |
Visitors, Page views, Funnel clicks, Avg. time on page | Totals for the period. Funnel clicks also shows the share of visitors who clicked through, and Avg. time on page the average scroll depth. |
Visitors over time | Visitors across the period. |
Page performance | Visitors, Views, Funnel clicks and Click rate for each page. |
Acquisition & audience | Top sources and Top regions. |
Funnel clicks are clicks on your main website button, not leads. Visitors are unique within the period, and bots are left out.
What it costs
Workspace | Build and preview | Publish |
Starter, including its free trial | Included | Included, one website per brand. The website page shows Included in Starter. |
Website-only workspace | Free, no card | The Website plan, $5 a month (USD). The website page shows Website plan. |
A website-only workspace is the first workspace of an account created from granvl's website sign-up page. It's built around one website: Website sits right under Home in the sidebar, and the other sections stay locked until you upgrade to Starter. Until you choose a plan, the publish button reads Choose a plan to publish and takes you to Settings > Billing. See Manage your plan, trial, and billing.
The Website plan is sized for about 10,000 page views per website per 30 days. When a published website passes 8,000 in 30 days, a notice appears on the dashboard with See plans. The website keeps serving over the limit.
