This walkthrough takes a funnel from first prompt to live page. Your agent does the building over MCP. You review the result in Funnels and make the calls that matter: where leads go, which domain the funnel runs on, and when it goes live.
Before you begin
Your agent is connected and the granvl skill is installed. See Connect your agent and Install and verify the granvl skill.
You know your offer, who it's for, and your website address.
You have somewhere for leads to go: GoHighLevel, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Formspree, Lead Prosper, Lead Distro AI, or any webhook URL.
You can add DNS records for a domain you own. You'll use a subdomain, such as offers.yoursite.com.
To connect a domain or add tracking secrets, you need to be a workspace owner or admin.
1. Give your agent your brand and offer
Your agent writes better pages when it knows who you are. Start a session by giving it context:
Add your brand kit. In Settings > Brands, select Manage next to your brand. Enter your site under Build from your website and select Build to pull its logo, colors and fonts. Add your Voice and Tagline while you're there. You can also ask your agent to set up the brand kit for you. See Organize work with brands and brand kits.
Answer your agent's intake questions. At the start of a session, your agent reads your workspace memory. When it's empty, the skill tells your agent to ask a few questions about your business, audience and voice, and to save the answers for next time.
Add offer research (optional). Audiences and offers on the Offers page, and research reports on the Research page, give your agent claims it can back up. See Give your agent your strategy and context and Research an offer with research reports.
2. Send the starter prompt
Copy the starter prompt from setup, or from Build your first page on Home, and paste it into a new chat with your agent:
Using the Granvl skill, build a new funnel for {your website}.
Start with Granvl’s “quiz-fullscreen”, “quiz-cards”, and “quiz-chat” templates. Pull their code with get_template_html and create three variants on one quiz page, plus a thank-you page. Split test the variants and restyle each one to match my brand.
Before building, ask for my quiz questions or a link to a quiz I already use.
Test the funnel end to end, publish a preview, and send me the link.
Replace {your website} with your site's address. Your agent asks for your quiz questions, builds three quiz variants on one page plus a thank-you page, splits traffic between the variants, and sends you a preview link.
Prefer a different starting point? Open Templates, select Live example to see a template in action, then Copy prompt and paste that into your agent instead. See Start from a template and host lead magnets.
3. Review the funnel
Open Funnels and select your new funnel. It shows as Draft until you publish it.
Select Preview to open the pages in a new tab.
Check each variant on desktop and on your phone: every quiz step, the form, and the thank-you page.
Ask your agent for changes in plain words, for example: "On the quiz-cards variant, make the headline shorter and change the button to Get my quote."
To get sign-off from a client or teammate, ask your agent for a shareable preview link. It covers the whole funnel, runs without tracking, and stays valid for 7 days.
Funnel drafts aren't public. Nothing is served on your domain until you publish.
4. Set up lead delivery
granvl sends each form submission from the visitor's browser straight to your tools. It never stores contact details. Until you add a destination, submissions only record a conversion and redirect. The leads themselves are lost.
In the funnel, open the Delivery tab.
Under Add a destination, find your provider (filter by category or type in Find a provider), then select Connect on it.
Paste the webhook URL or embed code your provider gives you, then select Connect. The panel shows where to find it for each provider.
For GoHighLevel or a webhook, select Send test lead. granvl sends a sample with obviously fake values and every field your form uses, so you can map the fields in your tool.
If your destination expects a particular phone format, set Phone format on the same tab.
Your agent can set destinations for you too. Lead Prosper and Lead Distro AI need a field map. See Set up forms and lead delivery and Map form fields to your destinations.
5. Connect your domain
Go to Settings > Domains and select + Add domain.
Enter a subdomain, such as offers.yoursite.com, without https:// or a page path.
Add the DNS records granvl shows where you manage your DNS (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap and so on).
Wait for the status to change from Pending to Active. It usually takes a few minutes. SSL pending means the domain is verified and the certificate is still being issued.
In your funnel, select Settings, then under Details, choose your domain in Domain.
Your main website isn't touched. See Connect a custom domain.
6. Add your ad tracking
Tracking is set once per domain and applies to every page on it.
Go to Settings > Tracking and select Set up next to your domain.
Add your Meta pixel, Google Ads or Google Tag Manager details.
Use Send a test event to check the platform receives it.
7. Publish
Publishing needs a verified domain, at least one page, and variant weights on each page that add up to 100.
Tell your agent: "Publish my funnel on offers.yoursite.com." Your agent shows you a summary and asks you to confirm before it publishes.
Or publish it yourself: in the funnel, select ···, then Publish. Publish is also under the funnel's Settings, next to Status.
The funnel's status changes to Active.
8. Test the live funnel
Test before you send paid traffic. A test-drive link lets you submit the live form without sending a junk lead to your CRM or firing your ad pixels.
Ask your agent for a test-drive link: "Create a test-drive link for this funnel."
Open it and go through the funnel: answer the quiz, submit the form, reach the thank-you page. The whole flow runs, but nothing is delivered to your destinations, no ad pixels fire, and every row is marked as test.
When you're done, ask your agent to clean up the test data with
cleanup_test_data.A test drive can't prove your CRM field mapping. Use Send test lead (or ask your agent to run
send_test_lead) for that.
Test-drive links work for 24 hours.
9. Send traffic
In the funnel, select the address under the funnel name. Once a domain is attached, it's your page on that domain.
Choose Meta URL + UTMs or Google URL + UTMs to copy a link with the right tracking parameters, or Copy link for the plain URL.
Use the link in your ad, email or post.
Campaigns your agent builds through granvl add the tracking parameters for you and are created paused, so you review and turn them on in the ad platform. See Connect ad accounts and read performance.
10. Watch the results
Open the funnel's Overview and Analytics tabs to see visitors, conversions and conversion rate by variant. Leads shows each submission's answers (never contact details) and whether it reached your destinations. Your three variants split traffic from the start, so let them collect enough data before you pick a winner. See Run and evaluate an A/B test and Understand first-party analytics and attribution.
